The first, a 4-part docuseries, charts the personal stories of four refugees who have arrived in the UK and turned to the food of their homeland to establish successful street food businesses that celebrate the power of cookery to transcend boundaries and borders.

The second season is a further celebration of the UK’s global food scene, taking the Spice Road as its inspiration and discovering the unknown chefs who have brought the food and cookery of their heritage to the UK, charting how it has influenced a nation’s food culture.

Both are produced in conjunction with Nicola Allieta, producer of NETFLIX docuseries SanPa: Sins of the Saviour, and distribution arm Tatatu.
